Construction ---------------- Build Time : An hour Editor(s) used : Metapad, FrikQCC Impulses : Impulse 30 toggles the flashlight on and off, "temp1 1" will enable dark mode Description of the Modification ------------------------------- A simple flashlight I coded for inertia to use in whatever he's doing, I took the original flashlight from Inside3D and revamped it with a couple of additional features: A) Two light entities for added realism. Instead of a circle appearing at the end of the shine, it'll light the floor and surrounding walls also halfway inbetween as a flashlight should. B) Included null.spr so you don't have to deal with an ugly bubble hanging in mid air C) A little flash for when it flicks on and off D) Monsters will notice the flashlight in a realistic manner E) Added a darkmode for additional fun and different behavior concerning monsters noticing the player F) Items block the flashlight, including dropped backpacks and such G) Mappers can define with the flag: "cnt" set to 1 on an entity to only allow monsters to be woken up by the player either 1. Shining the flashlight on them, or 2. Monster sees player player with the flashlight on. Darkmode automatically sets all monsters to Darkmode despite setting the cnt flag.
